Clarkson University awarded more than 700 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 34 states, 26 countries and 60 New York state counties at its 124th commencement on May 13, 2017. (An additional 262 students received degrees this past winter and summer.)

A total of 398 Mansfield University students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. To be named to the Dean's list, a student must attend the university full-time and earn at least a 3.5 GPA.

Every spring, Siena scholars from all academic areas gather together at the annual Academic Celebration. The day of celebration begins with a presentation session in the Sarazen Student Union where all students are invited to showcase their research and final projects.

More than 600 students received bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies held on May 21 in Canton, New York.

More than 1,200 students were named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

Nearly 1,800 students were named to the Spring 2017 President's List at Hudson Valley Community College.

The following students have been named to the Champlain College Trustee's List for the spring 2017 semester. Students on the Trustee's List have achieved a 4.0 grade point average for two or more consecutive semesters.

The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize more than 1,000 candidates for graduation during the College's 2017 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 20. The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2017 will be awarded baccalaureate and master's degrees at the ceremony.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is the international honor society for the Computing and Information Disciplines.

Champlain College's 139th Commencement was held at Edmunds Field in Burlington, Vt on Saturday, May 13. A total of 760 undergraduates received their associate and bachelor's degrees during the ceremony. The Today Show's Al Roker and Renee Forney, CEO of the Forney Group received an honorary degree. Twenty-four students in Ithaca College's School of Business were inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

The following St. Lawrence University students were inducted into Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national honor society for earth sciences.

Omicron Delta Epsilon is the international honor society in Economics, Beta Nu chapter.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society for students of AACSB-accredited business schools.

Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the Winter 2017 Term. The Dean's List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

The Society is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction. With 548 chapters, the Society currently has 730,779 members nationwide.
